The Beijing Olympics were a great success for the Chinese I think they impressed everyone with there technology and there fancy fireworks. I think the Chinese will be a very important role in our future they are a very wealthy country. America gets a lot of things from China we get food and lots of toys from China. China is going to be a fierce country that we better stay friends with so we do not get into World War III.

I was also impressed with the cool technology at the Olympics, even though I didn't get to see the opening ceremonies and only a couple minutes of the closing.
I disagree, though, with the comment of having to be nice to China so we don't get in a WWIII. America and China are the most important countries in the world, as far as economy goes. We need each other. The US doesn't really have to worry about being nice to China. If the US economy fell (by being in a WWIII), China's would also. We depend upon each other and will work together to keep each other's economies going well.
