GunPowder or Printing Press? What do you think?

I have to say that they are both very important inventions they build upon each other, but if I had to choose I would choose gunpowder. Because without gun powder we would not have had great accomplishments in war we would have been slaughtered like the Indians because they had no gunpowder. I decided to look up some more information on gunpowder and I found some interesting facts that you might like to know here are some examples. Gunpowder is one of great historical importance in chemistry it puts the boom in chemistry!
We would not have a greater knowledge of chemistry without gunpowder we would not have some of the awesome labs that we have today. Gunpowder also helped end wars faster; it used to take countries years to win wars like the Trojan war for example that war lasted some what ten or eleven years, and if they would have had gunpowder the war could have ended faster. I also found out that the Chinese started making rockets, guns, and cannons as soon as they found out about gunpowder. Think about it gunpowder helped us invent space shuttles if the Chinese had never invented fireworks and rockets than we would not have had a lot of information about space.
